We prepare students to effectively make decisions when faced with incomplete information. Content knowledge is necessary, but not sufficient. Students need a skill set that allows them to think critically, collaborate with others, self-direct their learning, make decisions, and communicate effectively. The project explores whether the case method approach in Liberal Arts business education can enhance such decision making skills. The project provides a 'mid-career' faculty member a new set of pedagogical tools that are more appropriate for courses that changes in curriculum and personal interests have presented. The project offers opportunity to explore the scholarly development of teaching materials.
