The primary focus of the Innovation Fund Grant for 2016-17 is to create a centralized inventory of internationalization efforts at The College of Wooster and to identify a small number of central (estimated 3-4) programs to strengthen through the Innovation Fund program. The support will be used to strengthen and build upon current programming at the College to enhance its impact on our students' experience. One pilot program will be selected for the 2017 spring semester. Outcomes of the initial Innovation Fund Grant include a centralized inventory of global programming at The College of Wooster, implementation and assessment of a pilot project in the spring, and development of a strategy and structure for using future proposals to continue to innovate and strengthen existing work at the College. An overarching goal is to bring a central focus to the global component of our students' liberal arts experience through enhancing communication and interactions between the academic and student life sides of campus. A 5-member team of faculty and staff will lead the efforts.
