Strengthening Education in the Tradition of the Liberal Arts

Deans' Council

The Chief Academic Officers of the thirteen member colleges meet twice annually as the GLCA Deans' Council. The Deans' Council reviews existing faculty-development and off-campus study programs, considers new program ideas, and approves proposed disciplinary meetings. Further, the Deans' Council provides an occasion for professional development for deans, provosts, and vice presidents for academic affairs.

The Fall 2015 meeting of the Deans' Council will be held at Allegheny College on Thursday, November 19th & Friday, November 20th.  The Spring 2016 meeting of the Deans' Council will be held at Wabash College on Monday, April 11th & Tuesday, April 12th.
